Thunder Eggs

Thunder egg is a nodule, similar to rough sphere of rock, formed within Rhyolite a volcanic rock, their size can vary from less than 2.5 cm to approximately 10 cm.  Their centres usually chalcedony along with associated minerals of Agate, Jasper and Opal, sometimes Quartz, Gypsum and other minerals can be found within these geodes.
