Stilbite is a common member of the Zeolite family group, most specimens are found in India, near the Poona region. Stilbite is also abundant in the volcanic rocks of Iceland, Faroe Islands, Isle of Skye, Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, New Jersey North Carolina and Oregon.   Also found in Brazil Italy Mexico Russia and Scotland.

Tumble stones are so called because a number of stones of similar sizes are placed in a barrel which is rotated (tumbled) at a speed and after a time between 3 - 5 weeks the stones are polished from rough to smooth.
