Charoite - Russian - Tumbled Stone

Charoite has a very distinctive in its colour and patterns, a complex mineral containing potassium, sodium, calcium, barium, strontium, oxygen, silicon, and hydrogen. It’s formation is monoclinic, it occurs primarily in dense fibrous aggregates. 

Charoite is named from the only location in which it is found, the Charo River Valley, Yakutia, Russia.

It’s colour ranges from pale lilac to deep purple, and it is rich in internal patterning but may also occur with streaks of green, black and orange colour as a result of Tinaksite and Aegerine impurities within the stone.

Charoite assists in helping one to understand and accept everyday reality, enabling fast decisions on ones life path when necessary.  Opening and balancing the Crown Chakra it can help one separate one’s own issues from the issues of others, assisting with energetic boundaries and the interpretation of psychic information.
